When we discuss the ingredients we need from our clients, those usually include the following:

  • Ideas – Any ideas you might have for your website, we would love to hear them!
  • Branding – Logo, Company Colors, Motto or Tag Line etc.
  • Images – Any images you would like to include in your website. For example, a construction company might want to include a page showcasing previous work done.
  • Copy – Copy refers to all of the written content on the website. At S2B Digital, we strongly believe that the tone of voice used in the copy of your website should remain uniquely yours. You know your business the best, so we believe you should be in charge of the copy. It’s one of the many small factors that play a role in brand recognition online.

At S2B Digital we offer design services for those of you that might not have any branding material yet. For more information, click here.

This is a question that never has a singular answer. There are many factors that play a role in how long it takes to complete a website. The amount of ingredients you can provide initially, the amount of branding work required, and the complexity of the website’s functionality are a few examples that could affect our timeline.

Once we get a better understanding of these factors, we can provide you with a timeline that more accurately reflects the time it will take to create your website.

WordPress is a Content Management System (CMS) created for the purpose of creating digital content. Approximately 30% of the entire internet runs on WordPress. It is a flexible platform that is constantly updated to keep up with the ever-changing online landscape, which means your website will remain cutting edge in the years to come.

Absolutely not! Everything we do is done in house. That way you have the confidence that every aspect of your website is done with care and precision.

Of course you do! Your website is yours and yours only once complete. Since you will be the owner of the hosting account which includes your domain, once the website is launched it is under your ownership.

Absolutely. We take pride in making sure your website looks great on a computer, a tablet, or a mobile device. It’s vital for a website to be mobile friendly in today’s landscape since most people search for businesses on their phones.

Our standard packages come with one round of revisions. This is usually enough for most projects, but that does not mean that if there’s something you absolutely want changed, we won’t do it. Our goal is to materialize your vision of your website! The only time revisions become an issue is when it becomes obvious we are moving in circles rather than forward. If that happens, we will work with you to get your project back on track.

Due to their nature, E-Commerce websites take a bit longer than usual “Content-only” websites. With E-Commerce websites, we thoroughly test each aspect of your online shopping cart to ensure a pleasant and worry-free experience for your customers.

Once we get a better understanding of these factors, we can provide you with a timeline that more accurately reflects the time it will take to create your website.

WooCommerce is an extension of WordPress that turns your website into an online store. WooCommerce runs approximately 25% of all online stores on the web and is a constantly updated and maintained to remain relevant and secure. By using WooCommerce, we allow our customers to remain flexible with how they chose to run their online store.

We understand that this is an important question for any business owner looking to start an online store! Because we use WordPress with WooCommerce, we are flexible when it comes to the back-end processing of your orders. WooCommerce allows integration with the most popular processors such as PayPal, Stripe, Square, and Authorize.net. WooCommerce also has their own payment processor which integrates directly with your website’s dashboard, to provide you with all the information you need about your sales in one central place.

Security is our number one priority. Dealing with sensitive information such as credit card numbers and billing addresses can be nerve-wracking, but have no fear. Payment processors that work with WooCommerce are set in a way that only the payment processor (PayPal, Stripe, etc.) is seeing and using this sensitive information. Because of this, your online store receives the security provided by those payment processors for sensitive information such as credit card numbers, billing addresses etc.

Just like with payment processors, WooCommerce is flexible with which shipping carriers you can use on your website. WooCommerce natively integrates with USPS shipping and even allows you to print your shipping labels directly from your website. We also offer setting up other carriers such as UPS and FedEx, alongside services such as Free Shipping, In-Store pick-up etc.

No worries! We wouldn’t launch your website before you feel confident in your skills to manage your store! At S2B Digital, we like setting our clients up for success and because of that, we will walk you through the basics of how to manage your online store. We’ll cover things like inventory management, order processing, shipping, and product maintenance.

That’s a great question and one we enjoy answering in detail. In today’s day and age, websites are no longer “set-it and forget-it” deals. Due to the frequency with which technology and software changes, it is important to always be on top of maintaining your website’s software. The most important reason is security. A well maintained website is a secure website. Digital security experts are constantly finding and fixing security vulnerabilities present in softwares and applications.

Your website is not unique in that it also needs constant maintenance and updates to keep it modern and secure. To put this into perspective, the security company we work with blocks on average 4 Billion attacks per month. Most of these attacks target vulnerabilities in softwares that are outdated and have not been maintained properly.

Our care plans ensure that your websites are maintained regularly and that vulnerabilities are patched as soon as possible to ensure your site remains secure.

Don’t panic! Part of our care plan packages includes periodic scans for malware in your website to ensure we catch any trouble early on. Alongside the periodic scans, we also periodically back-up your entire website to a different (off-site) location. This is important because a back-up that’s stored in a different location cannot be compromised by the same attackers. This allows us to quickly restore your website from a clean back-up and have your website back in business in no time.

Since your website is a living and breathing piece of software that is constantly updating and improving, sometimes there is left-over information that ends up cluttering your software’s storage compartment – the database. This left over clutter needs to periodically be cleaned up. We refer to that as Database Maintenance. It’s important to keep your database maintained in order to have a fast website. Think of database maintenance like weight reduction on a race car.

Maintaining websites is a tedious and time-consuming task that often requires careful navigation through the back end of the website to ensure nothing breaks while performing these tasks. At S2B Digital we strongly believe that your focus should remain on running a successful business instead of learning the intricacies of maintaining your website.

We offer additional support, design, and development with each Care Plan we offer to allow our customers the flexibility to continue evolving their website even after we’ve completed the initial project. For example, if you need some wording or images changed out on your website, we would gladly do it free of charge as a part of your Care Plan. Our Platinum Care Plan offers up to 2 hours of additional support, design, and development each month which is enough for us to add a new page, or overhaul an existing page on your website.

All of our websites come standard with a security firewall and 24/7 monitoring capability. As a part of any of our care plans, we get alerted any time there is suspicious activity happening on your website that needs attention. Our 24/7 monitoring will also alert us to any critical maintenance or updates that need to be performed so we can do them as soon as possible.
